BREAKING NEWS! Sorry to lie to all of you, but the Cujo/Snoopy Come Home episode will come out next week. After our Barbenheimer weekend, we had to drop everything and do a very special episode of the pod dedicated to 2023’s biggest cinematic event. Joey spoils Neon Genesis Evangelion, Matt hates modern comedy, Nick learns that he is part of the problem, but in the end the boys realize that they are Kenough. The new episode is out now!

Soylent Green/The Stuff - Impossible Beef is Made From People

We have consumed too much! On this week’s episode, the fellas dive into Richard Fleischer’s 1973 dystopian nightmare, Soylent Green. To chase this down, Matt finally wore us down and we watched Larry Cohen’s, The Stuff! A combination that existed to proved to us that it’s the end of the world! Impossible Beef is people, Joey is ready for Wonka, and the boys dunk on the lackluster Emmy nominations! Support the WGA and SAG! Also, whoa 50 episodes!

Nope/Cowboys and Aliens - Sober Summer

I’d like to dedicate this episode to David Grush. Thanks for letting us know that aliens are here on Earth, Dave! On this week’s episode, we finally reviewed Jordan Peele’s Nope as the shot, and then chased it down with Jon Favreau’s Cowboys and Aliens! Like the title says, it’s sober summer so we are a little more irritable than usual lol. Joey hates Walmart, Nick yells at an infant, and will Matt make it through an episode without mentioning Star Wars? Find out now!

The Wolf of Snow Hollow/Gremlins - Christmas in July

We have a 𝓬𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓫𝓻𝓲𝓽𝔂 in the studio this week! Yung Bud has been whispering in our ears for months that he wanted to come onto the show to discuss 2 of his favorite films and we finally were able to get him on the show. For the shot, we have Jim Cummings’ The Wolf of Snow Hollow and to chase it down, YB requested that we watch Gremlins, A Christmas classic. We vent about a heckler at our theatrical showing of The Room, Yung Bud thinks horror is dead, Joey’s family hated Asteroid City, and Matt defends Tubi. It’s a long one, but just know, it was way longer before we edited it.

Drive/Baby Driver - It Was a Set Up!

Vroom vroom cinephiles! On this week’s episode, we forced Matt to watch Drive for a 3rd time only to learn that Matt did not understand the plot 3 times in a row. Please feel free to give him a hard time about it, but be nice or else. To chase down Nicolas Winding Refn’s hyper violent slowburn, we watched Joey’s favorite movie Baby Driver! The boys tackle cancel culture, Nick spoils The Flash, and Joey gets scared during Shaun of the Dead? Buckle up, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!

Bringing Out the Dead/Ambulance - Cinematography Oscar Nomination Robbery

(Explosion sounds, sick guitar riff) Hello again Michael Bay fans! We meet again! Please be kind to our Scorsese fans they represent the last of a dying breed (movie fans that matter). On this week’s episode, we watched Scorsese’s moderately approachable Bringing out the Dead, and to chase this down we watched Michael Bay’s underrated masterpiece Ambulance. Nick is Matt’s boss now, Joey watched Blackberry while working at a phone store, and Matt hates Ryan Gosling’s Drive? We’re just as confused as you are. Prepare to be traumatized! Joey has been wanting to watch Antichrist for a while and we were finally able to corner him on this weeks episode! To chase down Lars Von Trier’s controversial masterpiece, we watched everyone’s favorite 2011 romcom, Crazy Stupid Love! 3 white men talking about the inherent chaos of women, what could go wrong? Joey praises the Succession finale, Nick watched softcore porn on 2008 Netflix, and Matt reads off our Chinese food order. Why did we order Chinese food during the last 20 minutes of Antichrist? Hell House LLC/The Haunting - A Haunted House Slumber Party

With spooky season right around the corner (5 months from now) what better time to watch something scary with something campy! This week, the fellas watched the micro budget found footage gem, Hell House LLC, and to chase this down we watched the 1999 cult classic, The Haunting! Being 2 of her favorite horror movies, Molly guest stars to give us hilarious and fun facts about both movies. Nick is a sleep shopper, Matt is binging classic horror movies, and Joey doesn’t wanna spend the night in the Hell House for a cast and crew meet and greet! Happy halfway to Halloween!
