Good evening Evangelion fans. On this week’s episode, we are once again joined by Julius for our Godzilla episode that was recorded on time but released a way after Godzilla day. (insert 1998 Godzilla roar here). For the king of monsters big day, we sat down and watched Hideaki Anno’s Shin Godzilla. To chase this down, we watched Inishiro Honda’s 1954 kaiju masterpiece, Godzilla. Matt watches The Poughkeepsie Tapes, Nick does not like cotton candy flavored treats, Joey doesn’t think Joaquin Phoenix can sing, and Julius proves that he is the Godzilla expert. The new episode is out now! (insert 1998 Godzilla roar here).

Happy Halloween cinephiles, and thanks for tuning into the 2nd annual Shot & Chaser Halloween Special! As some of you may remember, last year Nick gifted the fellas a copy of the 4-hour cut of Halloween for Christmas. It has laid dormant on all of our movie shelves all year and we finally sat down, turned off the lights, and watched the longest Halloween movie to date! We reviewed our take on this cut as well as the original cut of the trilogy, but Nick has a few tricks up his sleeve regarding the future of the Halloween franchise this spooky season. Also, a heated debate sparks once more as Nick and Joey clash over Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Matt introduces a new segment to the show! Prepare to be spooked!

Like zoinks dudes! We’re watching a low-budget sequel and a masterpiece tonight! On this week’s episode, the boys show Joey the Wes Craven vehicle, Scream. To chase this down, we rifled through the discount bin at Walmart and grabbed Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed! The fellas discuss the last time they cried (all 3 were relatively recent), Joey spends the day at the movies, Nick reaches the next phase of weeb-ism and emulates Japanese PS1 games, and Matt leaves his Kermit the Frog figure in the basement. It’s gonna be a good time, as long as you like scary movies of course.

On this week’s episode, we watched the controversial BBC Halloween TV movie, Ghostwatch. and to chase this down we watched Chris LaMartina’s homage to a beloved time of television, WNUF Halloween Special. Nick and Matt review Saw X, Joey’s scared of ghosts, and apparently the new Exorcist movie is cheeks? It’s awful, but that’s for next week's episode. The new episode is out now!

On this week’s migraine infused episode, the boys watched George A Romero's 1968 immortal classic Night of the Living Dead. To chase this down, we watched Edgar Wright’s zombie romcom, Shaun of the Dead. Nick and Matt trudge further into the Saw universe, The boys argue about what A24 should do should they acquire the rights to Halloween, and the WGA strike is over! Viva La Resistance! Aloha Rob Schneider haters! On this week’s episode, we are joined by Hannah to discuss her favorite Tumblr movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind! To chase this down, we suffered through 50 First Dates, a movie that aged like milk. Everyone has religious trauma, Matt falls asleep during Saw 2, Joey goes to bat for Paul Dano once more, Nick goes over religious sleepovers, and Hannah ages all of us by telling us that her parents first date was seeing Titanic in theaters! Let’s talk about hot Jesus! The new episode is out now!

Okay, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, welcome back listeners! After a brief delay, we are back on schedule and continuing to shit on movies that deserve it. For this week’s shot, we had Frank Henenlotter’s 2008 abomination, Bad Biology. To chase down this sewage water, we revisited every 2006 high schooler’s favorite movie, Superbad! Nick finds out there’s a hate chat about him at work, Matt gets roasted, and Joey revisits Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy a decade later. Welcome to the roast of Matt (last name redacted)!

Not quite our longest episode yet, but it got close. Sorry for the delay everyone! On this week's episode, the boys invited two guests to discuss two deeply spiritual and philosophical films about men’s truest desires. For our shot, we have Hideaki Anno’s controversial feature film, The End of Evangelion. To chase this down, we watched a group of men unknowingly give themselves radiation poisoning in Andrei Tarkovsky’s immortal masterpiece, Stalker. Matt finally saw The Nun, Joey dives into the universe of Mad Max, Nick C sucks at chess, our episode was late due to Fitch’s Wimbledon Fantasy League, and returning guest Nick B interacts with the ghost in our basement.
