Beyond the Black Rainbow/Detective Pikachu - Scientologist Moms Against Pokémon

We told a story a few weeks ago about when Nick told his wife that they were gonna watch Detective Pikachu but ended up showing her (and a group of people) Beyond the Black Rainbow. Traumatized, Molly requested that we rewatch Beyond the Black Rainbow for our shot and Detective Pikachu for the chaser! We could not think of a better challenge to find a correlation between these two wildly different movies, but dammit did we try.
