Brawl in Cell Block 99/I Love You Phillip Morris - Jail Seems Bad

Hands in the air, kino bros! On this week's episode before the holidays begin, we kicked things off with Vince Vaughn's immaculate performance in Brawl in Cell Block 99. To chase this down we watched Glenn Ficarra and John Requa's biopic I Love You Phillip Morris. We kinda babble about what we're doing for Thanksgiving and ultimately we decide that Thanksgiving is cancelled this year so enjoy this episode because it's gonna be Christmas for the next month on the show!

Inland Empire/Tootsie - The Criterion Spectrum

No sad animal movies here! Joey was last week's loser and we thought it would be funny to make him endure David Lynch's final feature film (unless you're goated and consider The Return a film) Inland Empire. This sorta backfired, but have no fear! To chase down the surrealist nightmare, we watched Tootsie. Which was somehow worse than we thought it would be. Matt completes the Ernest filmography, Nick finishes Yu Gi Oh, and perhaps Joey will begin a David Lynch binge? Listen to the new episode to find out!

Okja/Marley & Me - Joey is in Time Out

It's that awkward lull in between Halloween and Christmas where we get a lil weird with our choices and Joey decided to keep that tradition alive with this weeks combo. For our shot, the boys watched Bong Joon Ho's animal rights protest film, Okja. And to chase this down we endured everyone's favorite sad dog movie, Marley & Me. Nick plots his revenge, but more importantly, we all watched Rap World and admittedly that is like 30 minutes of this episode (go watch Rap World). The new episode is out now!

The 2024 Scooby Doo Halloween Special! (It's Terror Time)

Ruh Roh rilm ros (I'm not doing this bit past this point), it's Halloween again! Our 3rd annual Halloween celebration is upon us, and what better time to watch 4 Scooby Doo movies from our childhood? We got together and watched Zombie Island, The Witch's Ghost, Alien Invaders, Cyber Chase, and rated them from worst to best! The boys dress up this year, Nick's Yu Gi Oh binge is getting out of hand, Matt fornicates in a hat, and Joey picks our first movies outside of spooky season for next week (and he will suffer for his choices). Bram Stoker's Dracula/Dracula 1931 - I Want to Suck...... Your Blood!

It's blood sucking time! We are just a week away from the spookiest day of the year and we thought it would be a good idea to pregame with some damn(nation) good fun! For our shot, we watched Francis Ford Coppola's take on Dracula, and to chase this down we watched the 1931 Bela Lugosi rendition of Dracula. Before we could get into the classic monster fun, Nick and Matt fully spoil and dissect Terrifier 3 for Joey! There's spooks around every corner, loyal podcast listener! The new episode is out now.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre/Tucker & Dale vs Evil - Community College Students in Trouble

We should definitely check out the abandoned cabin! Surely our demise does not await inside! On this week's spooky episode, the boys go for gore with Tobe Hooper's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. To chase this down we brushed off our Associates in Psychology degrees so as to dissect the complexities of Eli Craig's Tucker and Dale vs Evil. Joey defends Joker 2, Matt thinks everything is Army of Darkness, and Nick find's Jared's doppleganger. The new episode is out now!

House/Monster House - Spooky Season 2025 Kick Off

(thunder booming/lighting crashing/pipe organ jamming) Welcome horror movie enthusiasts to the start of our Spooky month! We begin with the 1977 psychedelic Japanese horror classic, House! To chase this down, we cover the somewhat cult classic animated joint, Monster House! To chase this down, we watched Tim Burton's truly underrated masterpiece Big Fish! We are joined by Molly and Hannah to discuss movies, mortality, and the correlations between the two! Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon/The Pink Panther - True Love and Damburgers

Bonjour and Ni Hao! On this week's feline themed episode, the boys watched Ang Lee's kung fu romance epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. To chase this down, we searched deep in the filmography of Shawn Levy (it only goes so deep) and watched his 2006 reimagining of The Pink Panther. Nick shares his views on Happiness, Joey finishes Peaky Blinders, and Matt has 2 cats. This is never said in the episode, but I felt it was necessary to say given today's theme.
