Silent Night Bloody Night/All is Bright - The Biggest Flop in Cinematic History

Paul Giamatti deserves to be a Christmas king, but alas, only Alexander Payne seems to get it. As we enter the holidays the boys decided to knock out some watchlist Christmas movies! Joey brings a lost Christmas horror movie to our attention with Silent Night Bloody Night (or Night of the Dark Full Moon) as the shot, and to chase this down we watched the movie that killed Phil Morrison's career, All is Bright! The boys go over problematic family moments at the Thanksgiving table and what it takes to be a good human being, a lesson Phil Morrison could've used before writing whatever the hell All is Bright is. 1984/Brother Bear - Big Brother Bear

Happy Holidays Sheeple! The boys are back to discuss the dystopian real world nightmare we live in and also the heavy fall of of Phil Collins. For our shot, we have 1984 (god help us) and to chase this down we revisit a childhood favorite, Brother Bear! It did not age well! Nick apologizes for getting food poisoning, we go over our Thanksgiving plans, and the plight of the uneducated boomer :( I promise it'll be happier next episode!

Jacob's Ladder/Ernest Scared Stupid - We Got new Mics and They Sound Great (Please Let Us Have This)

Sorry for the delay valued consumer! Matt moved and this is our first episode recording from different locations and Nick worked really hard on the audio so be nice. We're letting spooky season marinate a little longer this year with the brain child of horrors such as Silent Hill with Jacob's Ladder! To chase this down, we get Joey one step closer to his tattoo with Ernest Scared Stupid. Nick got a tooth pulled, Matt has officially moved out of state, and Joey watches Game of Thrones for the first time. The new episode is out now!

The Shining/The Haunted Mansion - Goodbye Forever Matthew :(

It's a cryer here at the studio. This is the last episode we will be recording in Nick's basement/altogether in the same room as Matthew is moving hours away and is effectively dead to all of us. On a lighter note, The Shining is our shot and it was Joey's first time watching! To chase this down we shatter the nostalgia barrier and endure the 2003 Haunted Mansion movie, which we didn't really address but def had some weird racist undertones. Nick and Matt share a psychic morning, Joey confirms what Ernest movies he's missing, and again there is no Matthew anymore. Spooky season still going strong in November!

Ichi the Killer/Sledgehammer - Happy Incel Halloween Weebs!

Happy Halloween gang! Don't worry we still have one more spooky episode coming out but it'll be early November. Until then you're stuck with some WILD movies. For our shot, the boys watch their first Takashi Miike film, Ichi the Killer (Joey's new favorite movie). To chase this down we watched the first ever straight to home video horror film, Sledgehammer! Terror Vision PLEASE restock this. The Love Witch/Hocus Pocus - Spooky Season is SO Back ft Alli G

It's our favorite time of the year once again and to kick things off we thought it would be a great idea to have 6 people on the show (first time ever) and discuss some polarizing spooky szn movies. For our shot, Alli G had recommended the guys watch The Love Witch and to chase this down the Salem troupe wanted to reminisce a lil bit with Hocus Pocus! Hello Tylenol enjoyers! The world is in hell, so why not watch movies before the world ends? I'm typing this during the rapture btw, but for this week's episode (should it release) we watched Gerald Kargl's one hit wonder, Angst, and to chase this down we watched O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Just in time for spooky season, the boys have entered the Breeniverse! What horrors await? Only Nick knows because he's the only one who watched all of Neil Breen's movies in preparation for this episode. But we are not just talking about Neil Breen, no no, we are discussing the 2025 cinematic event of the year: Amazon's War of the Worlds starring Ice Cube. Mandy/Kung Pow: Enter the Fist - Shirt Rippers Anonymous

DON'T RIP MY SHIRT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. We are diving into the world of revenge films this week. To kick things off we watched Panos Cosmatos' Phantasmagorical masterpiece, Mandy. To chase this down, we traveled to a simpler time in cinema history and watched Steve Oedekerk's Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, which I assure you dear viewer aged like fine wine. Nick B returns as a guest to talk about mechs, we casually discuss the new War of the Worlds (for reasons) and we do a spoiler free review of Weapons since Nick B and Matt haven't seen it yet. Tokyo Story/The Squid and the Whale - Nick's Last Stand

Slice of life. A challenging genre for some, a personal favorite for Joey. On this week's episode we watched Yasujirō Ozu's Tokyo Story and to chase this down we return to Noah Baumbach's filmography with The Squid and the Whale and Nick has a really hard time with it. The boys eat their words and saw Eddington, Matt begins his spooky season watches, and Joey defends Baumbach with his life. The new episode is out now!
